The only people who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit are those who have received Jesus. Jesus does not live in the hearts of believers physically. He lives in them spiritually in the person of the Holy Spirit. So what will Spirit-filled people with the love of God do? They will love people like God loves them. Those with the love of God will encourage others to receive Jesus. God Himself wants them to receive Jesus. They will also love other believers who are indwelt by the Spirit of God. John 13:35: By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.Those who have the love of God will chasten and correct one another, just as Holy Spirit chastens and corrects them. Hebrews 12:6: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.Proverbs 3:12: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. |
